If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard of Golden Globe-nominated A Star is Born, you’d have at least heard the song ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper playing constantly on the radio.

A Star is Born stars Lady Gaga as Ally, a drag bar singer with a dazzling voice who falls in love with a Blake Shelton-esque washed-out country rock star, played by Bradley Cooper. The story follows the pair’s struggles with creative differences and life in the fast lane.

5. Blinded by the Light

Javed is a Pakistani teenager who writes poetry to cope with the racial and economic turmoil of 1987 Luton. Things begin to change when a classmate introduces him to Bruce Springsteen. The Boss’s haunting melodies and lyrics pierce Javed’s soul, pulling him towards a destiny that no Pakistani teenager from a small English town could anticipate.
